Research Interests

My background includes plasma physics, hydrodynamic, quantum and applied chemistry. My research focuses on the fundamental aspects of combustion and detonation and their interaction with plasma physics: reduction of the detonation cell size, reduction of the ignition delay time, enhancement of the deflagration-to-detonation process, laminar flame enhancement, microchannel-combustion. The development and application of plasma diagnostics is of great interest for these experiments.
